The Gympie Regional Gallery is housed in the beautiful and original School of Arts Building built in 1905. It is a community oriented gallery celebrating its own professional and amateur artists whilst introducing to the community a range of high quality exhibitions from elsewhere in Australia. Located in the heart of Gympie, and just a short stroll to the cafes, this fully air-conditioned, multi-purpose entertainment facility offers disabled access, a beautiful portico entrance to protect you from the elements and incorporates several function areas. The Heritage Theatre has tiered seating which makes it ideal for most theatre productions/conferences as perfect vision is ensured. The Prospectors Hall is a large open auditorium perfect for dances, weddings, exhibitions and much more. The Fossickers Room is smaller than the Prospectors Hall and is therefore more suited to intimate functions such as conferences, weddings and other social gatherings.
Australian Institute of Country Music (AICM)
The cornerstone of the AICM is the creation of an integrated campus for the study, performance, manufacturing and commercialization of Australian Country Music. The AICM is a not-for-profit incorporated association formed in 2001 to value add to the Gympie Country Music Muster profile for the Gympie region. One of the key aims of the AICM is to extend the duration and the scope of country music events and activities and assist in building a stronger country music industry in Gympie and Australia.

Nelson Reserve Gympie

Soundcheck is a ‘Pro-Jam’ session for professionals and emerging artists and offers great day of entertainment for people who appreciate good live music and with the nearby Apex Park providing plenty of entertainment for the kids, it's a free day out for the whole family.
Soundcheck provides professional development and networking opportunities for established and emerging musicians, bands and performers across all genres. No other jam session in the region, possibly Queensland and even Australia, offers this experience.
Gympie Gold Mining Museum

The town of Gympie has an important and colourful history, from being cited as the “Town that saved Queensland from Bankruptcy” to being the home of Andrew Fisher, Labor’s second Prime Minister. Everybody is invited to visit our Museum where you can find out just how Gympie saved Queensland and discover more of the region’s past and present. The Museum houses a vast collection of documentation, artifacts and photographs dating from the discovery of gold in 1867 by James Nash to the recently closed operations of the Gympie Eldorado Goldmine.

NAIDOC is a celebration of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and an opportunity to recognise the contributions of Indigenous Australians in various fields. Activities take place across the nation during NAIDOC Week in the first full week of July. All Australians are encouraged to participate.
