Join us for this great day of historical re-enactment in conjunction with your Rattler journey on the third Sunday of each month.  Seargeant Moore and Trooper Knox have been commissioned to escort a large shipment of gold from the Gympie Goldfields to Imbil.  Watch out for bushrangers along the way... especially at the stations.  A serious attempt will most likely take place when we reach Imbil, we therefore ask you to alight from the train as quickly as possible.

Supporting Chemotherapy in Cooloola’s Cooloola Bike Ride will travel from Murgon to Tin Can Bay over 3 days, with the first overnight stop at Curra Country Club. From Curra the ride will travel to Kin Kin via the Mary Valley. Day 3 will travel from Kin Kin to Tin Can Bay via Cedar Pocket Rd and then Coles Creek Rd. Each night we will be having a sing along with local artists and entertainers, come along - it is only a gold coin donation to the charity to attend.

A working cattle dog trial will be held at the Widgee Sporting Complex, Power Rd, Widgee(25kms west of Gympie). There will be competitions both days, dog activities, South East QLD Dog High Jumping Competition. Saturday night will continue with a Calcutta and live entertainment, licensed bar & canteen.
Maiden, Novice and Open finals on Sunday.

 This week-long celebration of the performing arts will be held at the Gympie Civic Centre during Easter. Featuring a wide programme of Choral, Vocal, Instrumental, Speech and Drama sections.  Over 10 adult and junior choirs (comprising in excess of 500 individuals) will compete, showcasing some of the best amateur talent in Queensland. All session are open to the public and programs are now available at Gympie Musicland at 36 Mary St.
