Foreshore Bird Walk, Tin Can Bay
Tin Can Bay is home to a truly wonderful variety of birds. The bird walk stretches four kilometres along the foreshore which provides a range of habitats for an excellent birding experience.  The sand flats and mangroves are a feeding ground for waders and sea birds, including the striking black and white Jabiru, the graceful silver-grey Brolga and the distinctive Brahminy Kite with its deep chestnut wings and white head.

Kinbombi Falls is a popular retreat close to Goomeri.
A well constructed walking track leads to a deep natural pool, at the base of dry falls. Turtles are regularly seen here. An easy track skirts the top of the gorge, offering breathtaking views. A large picnic area with tables, barbecues, toilets and plenty of parking makes this a great spot for a family picnic on a hot summers day.
